This is brilliant. Now, if you own a gun and want to keep it, you have to keep all of your anxieties and stress a secret from the only people who may be able to help you before you do something crazy. Plus, you have an incentive NOT to visit your doctor when you have trouble sleeping, impotence, abnormally high stress levels, etc. Brilliant. Fucking brilliant.

A proposal our on Center for Disease Control has footed on more than one occasion. And that will become law, if the next Congress does not repeal ObamaCare.

Just say “No”. “No doctor I will not tolerate guns or smoking in my house”. What he does not know won’t hurt you.

Doctor: Do you have a gun?
Patient: Why yes, I do and ‘cough’ I’d appreciate if you let it go.
Doctor: No, I mean a handgun.
Patient: Well, I guess you could call it that, the wife’s been traveling a lot on business lately.
Doctor: You know, having a gun in the house increases the risk of premature death.
Patient: Come to think of it my wife was complaining just the other day that the kids were running her to death. And I sometimes feel I’m working myself to death to keep them in the style to which they’ve become accustomed.
