Democrats Cheer McDonald
Because they don’t have to think anymore. And if they think it takes the gun issue off the table, they’re fooling themselves. This is the beginning and not the end.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

Clearly this takes the gun issue off the table, just as Roe v. Wade ended the debate over abortion…

I agree with Unc and Sean.
Everytime these idiotic mayors and city councils keep passing new legislation to “legally” deprive citizens of their 2A rights, the NRA and others will keep pouing on the opposition in the courts.
Kind of like Congress’ recent efforts to pass “legal” campaign finance reform after the S Ct declared McCain-Feingold to be unconstitutional.

5-4 baby. That puts it front and center in the elections. They should have been praying for 9-0.
And that ignores all the “reasonable” restrictions they are already promoting. The only reasonable restriction is to ban anti-gun types from firearms because they are so violent.

I guess I can see how some Dems might think they’ve got one less issue to worry about. Just like the Nazis no longer had to worry about defending the coast of Normandy after D-Day. One less issue to be concerned with.

Kagan won’t say there is a fundamental right to self defense; Stevens says judges’ opinions, not the written law, should be the deciding factor in court cases; Breyer, Ginsburg, and Sotomayor say there is no individual right to keep and bear arms.
I want whatever medications they are taking, because they are not experiencing the reality I inhabit. The color of their sky must not be blue; the sun must rise elsewhere than in the East; tides must follow something other than the moon; and their government does not derive its just powers from the consent of the governed.
