Not entirely off-topic. About twenty years ago, I’m in court and I walk up to check-in with the clerk. She’s strugling to clear a jammed staple. I pulled out my three and half inch pocket knife and said “Please enter my appearance, I’ll do that”. Those days may come back but I doubt it.
Clearly, if you had not been using one of those self feeding, semi-automatic staplers, you would not have had this problem. What you need is a good, old fashioned, S&W revolver stapler. For really precision and that authentic western stapeling experience, you should get a single action model that you must cock each time.

Of course it wouldn’t. But just the same, didn’t you get the memo about the non-recall?

Just mail it to them with a return address. You’ll get a new one and likely a rebate of the purchase price in some form. Never hurts to ask.

I’d call them and demand my free jam.

We’ll complete the manufacturers assertion;
“Jam free. All other attributes of this stapler, however, must be paid for.”

If that was a Kimber, 1911, 1/4″, manual stapler
not a prob.

If it were a Glock stapler it wouldn’t have jammed, but you’d be missing a couple fingers.
Why isn’t it red?
I need my red swingline.
