Honestly, I’d rather have 1 more pro-gun republican to hold the filibuster than I would a pro-gun majority leader with a dem congress.

Any serious analysis of the November elections with respect to the Senate show that there are not great chances of gaining Republican seats there. The big action is in the House.

Here is an even more unattractive scenario: The NRA helps Harry Reid hold his seat and it turns out to be the 50th seat in the Senate. The NRA effectively giving the Senate to the Democratic Party. I know I wouldn’t be paying their dues again ever.
