Soon to be an old geezer
Given that I have never read an E-Book. I installed the Kindle app on the droid and never played with it.

E-books can be convenient sometimes, but I personally prefer a real book. Mainly, I’ll buy an e-book as an “Advance Release Copy” from Webscriptions, or I’ll download one from their free library or from Project Gutenberg (also free). You can also get some out of print or older books for $2-$3 or sometimes less. If I’m going to pay much more than that, I’ll get the paperback for $6 – $8 instead.
I will never, ever buy an e-book from Amazon, or ever use any of their Kindle products. They have on more than one occasion used their connection to the devices to take back a book people have bought. They did give refunds, but I refuse to give them that level of access to my purchases.

I carry both of these books with me on my iPhone, too.

I installed the kindle droid app, realized I wouldn’t be able to stand reading a whole book on that screen, and promptly deleted it.

I have the Kindle app on my Nexus One so that I can keep reading my Kindle books in places where I generally travel light. I wouldn’t try to read a whole book on it. Strangely, the only place it seems to get any use is the dentist’s office.
