The narrative
If I understand it correctly, a bunch of media sorts got together to label right wing folks, tea partiers as racist. And other things that I tend to label the narrative. Round up here.
Honestly, is it that shocking that this would happen? The narrative has been laughable for years. Bitter notes that right wingers would never be so organized. And some bonus threats of violence.

Honestly, is it that shocking that this would happen?
Not to those of us paying attention. What *is* shocking is the admission implicit in the defense: “Why are you shocked that admitted liberals are acting like liberals?”
This essentially means they have to own the position that liberals believe that making false accusations are just, proper and appropriate tactics.
“Of course we lie and slander, we’re liberals, what did you expect?”

Yeah, because conservative never lie or slander about liberals. Jesus Christ, try picking up an Ann Coulter book or listening to Rush or Hannity some time.

That one is Bitter.

tgirsch,
Those are *PUNDITS*, not actual sources of news. Let us know when actually right-wing journalists call for the government to shut down CNN, will ya?
Heck, find us actual right wing journalists, period…

Tom, the old ‘they do it too’ non-defense? And there’s a difference between those in the mainstream press and those shills you mentioned. Everyone knows they’re shills.

Actually tgirsch, I listen to rush all the time. I hear nothing slanderous said about libs on his show. Maybe you should try listening on a show sometime.

Yeah, because conservative never lie or slander about liberals.
Never said they didn’t. You just don’t hear them openly admitting that it is perfectly appropriate to do so.

Or that lies and slander are consistent with conservative principles.

If the “They do it too” defense is so effective, why is so much effort being done to distance our President from his strong ties to racist groups and anarcho-marxists?
I mean the Right has just as many extremest groups, so the fact that our President rubs elbows with them shouldn’t be shameful, right?

How about that, a “Law” professor from UCLA asking if he can get his Fed buddies to pull the plug? Talk about an echo-chamber, so young and so convinced in hive-mind collectivity of their righteousness. Was he also in on the, “lets all call them Racist!” slander?

Nothing on Byron Williams? Not even a critique on whether he was appropriately geared up by Shootin’ Buddy, who asked about the right XD for use on “bares, Mesikans, and Dimmokrat(s)? It’s like he doesn’t exist in gun blog world except for a couple of guys elsewhere who belittled the cops for their efforts, and another guy at calguns.net who was certain Williams was headed for a bank robbery.

Do to the fact that I am a liberal who likes guns I hang out with both liberals and conservatives. Trust me both sides talk a lot of junk about the other side and on both sides most of it is wrong.
