there is an obvious armscor .22lr that looks like an AR15 if you squint real hard POS rifle in/on the left hand side of that block.
That’s just funny to me.
There might also be a Calico 9mm carbine along the facing edge toward the top.
I don’t believe either of these have been used by a military organization.
Not saying thugs wouldn’t use what they can get of coarse, but i wonder how many of these firearms came from gun “buy backs” instead of being seized or captured?
So the Chinese did not object to the anti-rights message “Guns are bad” but did object to pictures of their Tibetan genocide? And the UN weenies agreed with them? Color me surprised!
You know, this would actually make sense if all the guns used in the sculpture had been used by oppressive governments and the pictures of the victims were of citizens executed by them. After all, it’s governments with their own citizens that seem to account for the majority of gun deaths in the 20th Century.
As for the UN….they seem to actually -prefer- to have their panties in a wad.
Bugei beat me to it… isn’t it interesting that you never see this sort of ‘sculpture’ with pics of US and Russian troops liberating concentration camps, rebels resisting dictatorial forces, homeowners shooting home invaders, etc.?
I suppose the people who might actually make such a sculpture have a much more immediate use for their guns than welding them together for a feel-good message…if you haven’t gotten the memo already, nothing we can do is likely to open your mind.

“Seems like a waste of perfectly good guns.”
The UN is a colossal waste of money, resources, and people.

That thing looks like a major religious site. You know the one people face a couple of times a day. Surprised no one has raised a stink about that.
