Well, since he obviously doesn’t have pants, that would rule out some holsters, which means it needs to be a gun light enough that he can carry it in his hand when he’s away from his home. Though I suppose he could get one of those belt-type holsters custom made to fit him.
And I imagine he’s got enormous fingers, so we’d need to take into consideration what types of gun he could comfortably pull the trigger on.
And are we thinking he’d want it mostly for small game or also for self-protection?
Most importantly, where is Bigfoot going to get the money for a gun? If we can locate him and determine what kind of firearm best suits his needs, I think we should have a fundraiser.
It’s feigned, wizardpc. I sometimes can’t resist the urge to tease. Unless Bigfoot turns out to be real, then I hope everyone remembers that it was me who first considered his gun needs.
Some guy (now deceased) in Canda claimed he shot a bigfoot while hunting for moose. He claimed it happened during WW2, and that he was a young teenager at the time. Apparently he was hunting illegally, and his family was of German descent so he did not say anything to anyone at the time. In the story he says he was using a “38-55 Winchester”. it’s really a very good read, and the artwork that they did is very good as well.
Well, since this sighting occurred in Tenn., yet Sasquatch could play center on any NBA team, I’d think you should use one of those Marlin Lever Guns in 45-70. Enough firepower at the ready, yet easy to use in the Brush. Now for your Western Rockies Bigfoot, where you might have to do 300-500 yard across the canyon shots, any quality bolt gun of the 416 family using solids should meet your needs, but make sure you have good glass on the weapon! If it gets up close and personal, a quality Stainless Revolver in .454 Casuell on the hip should provide a reasonable amount of comfort. Hope this helps.

If only they’d had a bag of Jack Link’s and something in say .458 SOCOM or .50 Beowulf, we’d have proof of Sasquatch.

I don’t know if Aunt B’s misunderstanding of the question is feigned or not, but her response is hilarious.

Bigfoot clearly needs a carbine and an appropriate sling. No point in concealing if you’re naked.

.30-06 should kill any animal in North America, I see this rule standing.
