My rep, Jimmy Duncan:

The reason the states are in so much trouble is the same reason the federal government is in trouble. It’s always easy to run as Santa Claus. It’s always hard to run against Santa Claus. You just have people who won’t say no to anybody. Both parties are at fault.

Jimmy Duncan usually votes the right way on legislation. But his primary job seems to be funneling pork into the district.
