Fareed Zakaria on the ground zero mosque:
If this community center were being built anywhere else in the world, chances are the US government would be funding it.

I can see he’s sticking to the Taqiyya-ing points. I’m pretty sure a “moderate” of a religion would be sensitive to the fact that building a religious center next to the sight of an infamous crime committed by their coreligionists would be insensitive and very immoderate. I can’t even think of a good example of this situation in converse involving Christians wanting to build something next to a place of infamous crimes committed by Christians in the name of Christianity that didn’t occur at least several hundred years ago. I find it exceedingly ironic that the people who will shit a brick if they find a manger scene in a public park are completely indifferent to a Mosque being built at Ground Zero. We are a tolerant society, which is why we don’t build strip clubs next to churches, BBQ Pork places next to Jewish Temples, or Mosques next to sites where people were massacred by Muslims.
