Read carefully: “Shall the Governor and the members of the Illinois General Assembly enact legislation to ban the sale of semi-automatic and assault weapons that are used by criminals to threaten the lives of law enforcement and the people of Illinois?”
This bill, if the legislators can actually read and comprehend English, would only apply to those individual, specific, by-serial-number weapons that were actually used by criminals who threaten.
Of course, we know already that our legislators, judges, and most lawyers can’t read beyojnd a 9th grade level. At tleast, that’s my conclusion after judging their actions ……
