Big brother and polling

One in five people are OK with warrantless GPS tracking of citizens.

About 18% of the people would “gladly trade the vicissitudes of freedom for the chains of slavery.” Ok, that’s not what Aristotle said – what he actually said would be Greek to most. But that’s the gist of it.

So one in five would reasonably be expected to be OK with being rocked in Big Brother’s arms. The other 80 percent have to be really careful the 20 percent do not take control of the State.

    Strange

Like all good ideas, the best test would be to apply it first to civil servants. I propose that all state employees (excepting active under-cover law enforcement officers) be tracked thusly, with the information posted online.

One in five people are insane.

Hmm. 20% of the people in a recent poll think the economy is just fine, they also support ObamaCare, killing the Bush-era tax cuts, and believe Cap-and Trade is good for the Planet. Hmm. Coincidence? Now if they would just give their names and addresses to the Pollsters next time, a hacker friend of mine can find out who they are and add them to the List, come the Next American Revolution…. “Know thy Enemy!”

  5. Skipelec Says:

In my neighborhood [AO] I know who the 20% are.
When the shit hits it, I know who to reject.
    Pussies.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
