Power source for AR-15
Looks more like a solution in search of a problem to me. But it is pretty cool.

That battery looks a little too bulky.
The circuitry needed to step up or down voltage would negate some of the weight saving.
There’s a possibility that some sort of gizmo more complicated than an LED would lose settings if power was removed to change the battery.
I can’t seem to tell how we get power to the accessories. is there some kind of power strip built into the rail?
There’s no mention of voltage.
Finally, it doesn’t seem to take the same batteries as my power drill, so that’s yet another set of spare batteries I need to get and yet another charger I need to keep around the house. Let’s hope I remember it when I exit with my katrina-kit.

With that much power, you could have an electrically fired rifle, eliminating the mechanical connection between the trigger and firing pin.

If you’ve got enough accessories on your AR that you need a battery like that, you’ve defeated the purpose of using an AR.

Cool, now I can finally run that electric train on my AR rails.
