Oil Filter Suppressor Update
Remember the $5 silencer and the ensuing legal discussion? Mike has a pic. Looks like you could make one from parts at an auto store and a blow torch.

I still prefer the Steven Seagal soda bottle and duct tape suppressor. For when my inner mall ninja wants out.

And I await the testing on various brands of oil filters, to determine which suppresses noise best.
Fram? Cheap, cheap, cheap. I have seen a Fram filter fold up into a crumpled heap of foil-thin metal upon application of an oil filter wrench, requiring use of an impaled screw driver to remove it from a car.

mikee – Bbbbut Fram has the grippy bits you don’t need to use a filter wrench. (j/k been there done that)
So how exactly am I supposed to aim with this? Do I mount new sights on top of the filter?

My brother was a 20yr MARINE and had a great deal of SPECIALIZED TRAINING. He always told me that one could make and attach a silencer from the fittings bin at the parts store or the plumbing section at any hardware store with no special tools or anything out of the ordinary. Ive studied the idea and I have to say……..hes right! DOESNT TAKE A MONKEY TO FIGURE IT OUT EITHER!

Constructive intent. You’re a felon. Now go turn yourself in to somebody.
