It’s a scream
Restaurant has a no screaming rugrats policy. I would eat there gladly with my kids. Amazing to me that people say they can’t control their kids or they can’t help what their kids do.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

I never found it difficult to teach my son that “actions have consequences”.
His teachers have consistently praised his manners and his behavior.
I’m totally comfortable taking him into any restaurant. Of course, I now have a 7 week old, so restaurants are not in the immediate future for the whole family. I understand that babies fuss and cry, but I never appreciated being subjected to it, so we do take out when we just don’t feel like cooking.

At a family-owned Greek restaurant, my toddler son was getting a little tired of sitting in his high chair and was squirming around. A lovely elderly Greek lady came over, introduced herself as the mother of the owner, and asked if she could “borrow” our son to join her for dessert.
She took him to a table near the kitchen door and fed him a Greek pastry while my wife and I finished our dinner. He was of course completely delighted.
We went there for the next 10 years as often as we could, even without our child.
