Keep in mind that “hasn’t returned to school” is not the same as “is not receiving an education.” Unless the law is significantly different in Broward County from where I grew up, permanently removing a student from the student body does not obviate the schools requirement to give the kid an education.
Please no one tell my son he can get kicked out of school for a toy gun. I would have thought that was a gift from God when I was 8. And I’m totally stealing ‘Zero intelligence’.
for years now, and I don’t think I was the first. I do repeat it often, whenever the subject of zero tolerance comes up. Sadly, sometimes the most effective way to make a valid point is to repeat simple slogan over and over again.

It may be a blessing for the kid given what schools are cranking out these days. I think home schooled might not be a bad way to go.

It’s not stealing. I’ve been saying this:
ZERO TOLERANCE = ZERO INTELLIGENCE
for years now, and I don’t think I was the first. I do repeat it often, whenever the subject of zero tolerance comes up. Sadly, sometimes the most effective way to make a valid point is to repeat simple slogan over and over again.
