Two choir boys, armed with toy guns, decide to break into someone’s house and discover that toy guns (even toy machine guns) are no match for a 38 revolver. I’m actually surprised at the fairly positive coverage in the press about the shooting. No hysteria at the WSJ. The NY Daily News, aside from the obligatory my baby didn’t do nothing, notes the law and that no charges will be filed. And Gothamist notes the deterring effect when a criminal’s insides are introduced to the outside.
Looks like they are sending money to O’Donnell. Good.

Danielle was kind enough to tell us how to listen to my radio talk last night:

NRANews apparently doesn’t believe in direct links. Or non-flash. Best way I’ve found stuff is the RSS feed.
UT football players not to be charged in bar brawl.
In NY, it’s OK to disregard the gun laws if you’re a celebrity. Via Jacob.
In my post on equipment for a carbine class, someone linked to this. Point taken. No need to dress like a ninja if you don’t actually ever dress like a ninja except on range day.
Leaking blood. A look the drug war in Mexico. And lots of gun pics. The drug guys like their gun bling.
Caleb has a look atthe supposed booger-hook, bang-switch problem I mentioned before.
Brigid had a different issue with the Serpa.
As for me, I own one. I like for range use but I don’t carry with it because it’s difficult to conceal. And I’ve yet to have an issue with it.
I’ve often said that, by law or constitutional amendment, members of congress should be required to do their own taxes. Both parties agree doing your taxes suck. So maybe we could get someone to push a law like that.
I mentioned that stuff last night on the radio. But WizardPC has some interesting info on the folks who are hysterical about guns in restaurants. First up, he notes the media push. And then the connections between this bout of hysteria and the previous one.
USCitizen has a round up of links.

Long time readers may recall the case of Anthony Diotaiuto. The police raided his home looking for drugs, based on loose facts that he was a drug dealer. It was a no knock raid and the police went in with full ninja gear because Diotaiuto was supposed to be dangerous because he had a handgun carry permit. Diotaiuto took between ten and 15 rounds of 9mm in the chest for less than an ounce of pot.
Looks like his family sued and lost.
It’s funny watching the Democrat party lose. It’s almost funny watching the Republicans act stupid.
Just did Cam’s show. Was nervous. How’d I do?
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
