Quote of the day
Asked what essential apps to get for an iPad:
Make sure to install Flash when you first get it otherwise about 80% of the websites you visit will have something you can’t view.
You can install Flash from your PC pretty easily, just hook up your USB cord to the iPad and transfer the files over.
I laughed.
Also, the 10 inch tablet from Archos that runs Android is due out later this month.

I wish they would make a iPad or that Android tablet as a net book…. I would much more enjoy the clam shell design, and I would buy one in a second.

Just got a Droid2 this weekend. Its so cool to just surf the web without any hindrances from my phone OS.

I do almost all my browsing on the iPad, and generally find most web sites work fine without flash. There are some exceptions of course (NRA News being one of them), but generally speaking, I don’t miss Flash on the iPad at all.
Flash, as an internet pollutant, has been allowed to go on for too long anyway. If someone has the market power to kill it, I welcome them, whether it’s Apple, Microsoft, or Google.

Unfortunately, unless I miss my mark, that tablet is not going to be permitted into Google’s Apps Marketplace – that may not be a disqualifying factor for some people, but it is definitely something to bear in mind.

How about an app to dump itunes and allow me to put music/videos on it in a much more sane fashion? Then port that app over to the iphone?
