Speaking of NRA
Dear guys and gals,
I’m glad you take the time to remind me at least twice per week via email about your NRA endorsed insurance programs. And I like that you do so even though I already have purchased insurance through you guys. It lets me know you care.

You need to send them more money so they can print more magazines that proudly claim full credit for things they haven’t done.
Oh, and buy their wine while you’re at it, too.

Yes, those NRA ads get a little annoying.
I like it even better that I get letters from my bank asking me to sign up for a checking account even though I already have one. Hey, why not save the stamp and pay me an extra 44 cents interest each month.

…and it’s LifeLock, fer gawd’s sake! Could it get any more schlock than LifeLock? They’ve been sued by the Attorneys General in how many states now?
But hey, somewhere along the line, they hired a marketing guy or gal who used to work for Publisher’s Clearing House, and whose parent worked for Koscot Interplanetary. This type of marketing has to be deliberately planned, with an attitude of “damn the members, these companies are offering us GUARANTEED income”.

I don’t get anything from them ‘cept American Rifleman?

How do you get them to stop mailing stuff to you? Waste of postage on there part it ends up going in the trash because its always the same thing: Some letter of alarm for a gun rights issue I have known about for months and asking for money. Or some service I do not care about.
They used to call me every other week it seemed asking for donations. Then when they called me about the UN treaty way back was it was just coming to attention last year I told them what should be done with the UN and those running it… They never called me again. I didn’t even ask them not to call me again.

shawn, contact NRA. they will remove you from their mailing list.

Yeh but GOA will NOT remove you from theirs even if you claim hardship, and if you pick up the phone on one of their solicitation calls they will try to browbeat you into giving.

I like that within a month or two of signing up for a 1-year membership, my daughter started getting requests from NRA to resubscribe. Can’t start too early on those re-ups, now can we?

As long as curmudgeons still rail at their junk mail, the Postal Service has a future. Back when stamps were 3 cents, folks were offended by the intrusion of Burma-Shave signs.
They also could remember when stamps were 2 cents.
