Why are anti-gun activists so violent?
TAMU Students for Concealed Carry:
We did have an incident of someone tearing down our fliers and lighting them on fire in one of the buildings, but they were luckily arrested for attempted arson.
They don’t trust you with guns. I mean, look what you can do with matches.

What kind of doofus gets arrested for ATTEMPTED arson. Hasn’t the human race known how to make fire for a while now?

I speak with some personal experience perhaps even authority in answering PeterB. I are an Aggie.
The buildings at TAMU are well built (it is still an engineering school, after all) and the administration has many decades experience handling an event called Bonfire (just google it – and be amazed and awestruck and saddened).
Attempted arson is about all one can get going on most TAMU buildings, including dorms, without use of napalm.

Incidentally, the first picture of the TAMU story shows a young man in uniform with a collie on a leash. The young man is a cadet in the TAMU Corps of Cadets, and the dog is the school mascot.
The first school mascot was a stray that was taken into a cadet dorm. The first morning it was there, when the bugler played Reveille, the dog started howling. Hence our school mascot is named Reveille. She also holds the (honorary) highest rank in the Corps.

I bet the person involved, if asked, would say they’re firmly in favor of “free speech”, as well.
Well, as long as they agree with it.
