The ATF can’t catch everything you know. It’s hard to catch things like that when you’re busy trying to turn dealers into criminals over horrible things like allowing a “Y” on a form instead of “Yes”.
It’s not illegal for a felon to own a gun company, to the best of my knowledge, as long as he is not in personal possession of a firearm or ammunition at any time.
There’s gotta be one heck of a back story as to why that author took so much time to write a boring hit piece on some guy no one cares about. Maybe he shoulda wrote that up, instead.
“extraordinary alleged real-life story of Lee Franklin Booth”
I’m no rocket science but “alleged real life story”? how much fact checking is there in this story?

No idea, but S&W had a convicted felon for a chairman a while back. So, not the first time we’ve seen it happen.

It does not matter to me if a felon does own a firearm much less a gun company. I believe in punishment ending upon release….

This is going to get real ugly before it plays out, because it may reveal some ugly facts regarding Federal and state agencies.
I will refrain from commenting about the firearms law legality of what this guy did until all of the facts are determined (likely by a jury).
Our government needs to dissolve the ATF, the DEA, and the Department of Education.
It could move the manpower over to ICE and let them patrol our borders.
Are you listening, Jim DeMint?

One doesn’t need to be a citizen either. Or be in the US.
Getting a FFL is really rather like going down the rabbit hole.

Must be a corrupt politician somewhere in the mix. Maybe investigate who Booth sent Campaign Money to?

Did anyone before Brecht say, “Why rob a bank when you can own one”?
