Rally ’round the family

Some signs from the Stewart/Colbert rally. Doesn’t look like all of them followed the don’t be crazy rules. But some of those are funny. My favorite is 67.

And this weekend, I caught the Jon Stewart interview with Obama. Good to see Obama is still blaming Bush. Funny to see that people are still buying it. Stewart’s questions were mostly about what leftist pipe dream Obama hadn’t accomplished (like why the healthcare bill wasn’t, basically, socialized medicine). That is, asking why we’re not further left yet and how that is disappointing. Not that I expected Stewart to ask any questions with a right-leaning slant but a few moderate ones would have been good.

Looked like Obama’s last attempt to rally the youth vote prior to the elections.

Obama’s made a joke of the Presidency. Sitting Presidents shouldn’t go on “The View” and “The Daily Show” or any other pop media outlet.

Presidents should act like grown-ups, not Hollywood actors drumming up publicity for their next movie.

Oh, and number 67 looks like a Sikh. I wouldn’t tell him he looked suspicious, regardless.

The irony of hateful liberals being mad that right-wingers are so hateful would be amusing if they weren’t so hostile about it.

I did enjoy the “anti-politics” signs though, like the 404 Error “Political Message Not Found”.

77 and 78 are pretty good too.

I dig it. One rally to help change the USGOV for the better of its people. And the other rally is to… well… Shit on Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin.

Hows that you say uncle, aint so much as we are winning, but they are just loosing so bad?

What’s hilarious is they’ll be all pumped up, but realize on Wednesday they forgot to vote on Tuesday, or didn’t know where their polling place was, or get there and realize you have to REGISTER???

The 18-25 age group is a wasteland, and always will be.

  7. MadRocketScientist Says:

Knowing the Obama press team, Stewart was probably handed a list of pre-approved questions.

  8. Dan Says:

I am sure he thought they were moderate questions. If pot ever gets legalized, that will take care of this troublesome youth vote.

I am partial to number 30 myself. Ignignokt FTW!

Few of these signs have the impact of a Protest Warrior sign, but at least most were good-natured satire rather than self-righteous fluff.

And 67 does indeed look like a Sikh. I want him on my side against the islamic terrorists. And I think he knows that already.

  11. Sebastian The Blogless Says:

You really are a paranoid idiot if you think Stewart would take to being told what to ask. Jesus, the right really has come unhinged in this country. Pathetic.

And try as I might I couldn’t get a straight answer about what the questions were that Stewart was supposed to ask from the right leaning point of view.

I really think you guys just regurgitate some variation of “media leftiest blah blah blah liberals blah hate americuh blah blah” and turn on Glenn Beck.

    Try thinking instead.

As usual, Sebastian can’t make a point without throwing in insults. Color me surprised.

Best sign I saw, by far, was “Less Grizzlies More Cougars”

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
