Other election notes
In California, the measure to legalize marijuana failed. I’m kinda shocked. Even more shocking, Harry Reid won. The good news is that means no Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.

I’m not surprised Prop 19 didn’t pass. California is actually more conservative than people think. It’s just that the small pockets of libtaria (e.g. Santa Cruz, San Francisco, etc.) tend to get most of the attention.

Locally in almost every CA county, there were add-on propositions to tax weed if 19 passed and it were legalized, to the tune of %10 and more, and since it’s readily available everywhere and cheap that would have driven up costs.
Meanwhile Jerry Brown is better on guns than Meg Whitman even though he’s a moron on everything else and responsible for Unionizing the public employees that are bleeding the state white. Oh is that racist?

Harry Reid, who was down 15% to Felix the Cat, manages to win why? Same reason Delaware staid blue, utter failure by the GOP to put up someone semi-coherent, or at least semi-capable of keeping his or her mouth shut.

Harry Reid had the Unions and Casinos fixing things for him.
