It’ll be tough to move forward in CT, especially since they have Franken’d the Governor’s race with all the Vote Tampering in Bridgeport. But Good Luck in their efforts.

I would be willing to overlook vote fraud if they are willing to loosen the gun laws…

SB – If you can legally do it but you’re getting repeatedly arrested or detained do you really “have it” in practice?
I see this as more of a “hey, this is legal, leave us the hell alone” message to the CT police.

Seems like it should be illegal to arrest someone for something that isn’t illegal. In my high school civics class I’m pretty sure they said that you can only be arrested for breaking the law. Ah, who am I kidding, I don’t remember high school civics and I probably slept through it anyway.
I love the cop telling the guy that he couldn’t think of a reason to open carry. I assume the cop was open carrying at the time. Instant hypocrisy is awesome to behold.
“You know the score, pal. You’re not cop, you’re little people! “

This is one of the things the Connecticut Citizen’s Defense League (www.CCDL.us)works on. As a matter of fact, the pamphlet the article refers to is put out by them, and can be downloaded from their website.

I like the breach of peace bull. If somebody else decides they dont like you exercising a right they can complain and you get arrested because they disapprove. Sheesh, why wasnt most of congress and the president arrested by now?
