I thought they had a Conservative Gov’t? Perhaps some of the British Scandal Sheets should put the picture of Churchill holding a Thompson on the Front Page and see if people get “upset”.

I think the populace of Britain has been socialist to its very core for generations. Forget the names of the political parties, they are just “more socialist” and “less socialist”. Maggie Thatcher was just an aberration for a brief period – after she left office the country went back to the leftward drift it has been on since before WWII.
