Just use the other door
Foothills Mall is pretty close to Casa de Uncle. They have some trampolines and a little kids’ play area so I take the kids there regularly enough. I always go in the Belk entrance. Saturday, had to go there for something else and I went in the front door and saw this sign:
From Drop Box |
Never seen such a sign on the other entrances I take.
Trouble is that, per TCA 39-17-1359, all entrances are to be posted.

Well, looks like you just don’t carry a revolver and you’ll be fine anyway! A nice semi-auto and it no longer looks like that picture. 😉

hell, Tango, my carry revolver is a S&W642, it really doesn’t look like that thing either… ; )

I hunted and fished there, before they built it. There was a pond right about where Sears is.

Yeah, beat me to it – just carry a semi-automatic and you’re cool.

If you lived in some place pro-gun like Tennessee, you wouldn’t have this problem.

Well, I’ve seen a similar sign posted on one of the side door entrances to Rivergate Mall in Goodlettsville, TN, but not on the main entrances to the anchor stores. When armed, I go in the entrances with no signs.
I’m just wondering if they think that armed persons with criminal intent will obey such signs??!! Maybe they oughta also post no-gun signs in Arabic in case some jihadists come to take out a large number of easy unarmed victims. Oh! Excuse me! That’s profiling! I forgot that we’re all terror suspects now according to our new police-state (Homeland Security-Patriot Act)

Shootin’ Buddy,
He can carry in the park where he lives because he lives someplace pro-gun like Tennessee, and not someplace full of shiftless on-strike anti-gun UAW Hoosiers.

You can carry in a park in Indiana, however this involves not being shiftless and getting off the couch and going to the park, where you will not be eaten by a bear.

I enjoy places that put up signs saying no concealed weapons allowed. So I just stroll in with an unconcealed one. Never had a word said to me.

Don’t tell me that, tell Greg Ballard.

Foothills Mall. West Town Mall. Metro, even when I lived in the Fort at UT, I carried. I even carried a full size Beretta in my backpack when I would have a late class. I never showed it to people and I never cared because if I had to draw that weapon, someone was going to either stop or die and I would have been arrested. I got pulled over many times for speeding and there was always a gun under my seat and I never told the officer; just smiled and took my ticket. All this worry about this and that is ridiculous. You make up your mind that you won’t be a victim and that is that.
