More TSA stuff
The TSA wants you to know they’re not thugs, which is why they’re confiscating your camera
I’ve heard a number of people say they expect the TSA to find some bogus security reason to ban cameras at the harassment gate. Of course, all their security reasons are bogus.
In other news, the TSA has a blog. No shit. If you’re reading this (and you will), fuck you.

The guy who does most of the posting signs his messages “Blogger Bob”. Every time I read it, I reminds of our old friend in denial Baghdad Bob.
My favorite of “Baghdad Blogger Bob’s” posts was his complete dodging of the “Fact” response to “Myth: The TSA pat-down is invasive”.
Fact: Only passengers who alarm a walk through metal detector or AIT machine or opt out of the AIT receive a pat-down. For this reason, it is designed to be thorough in order to detect any potential threats and keep the traveling public safe. Pat-downs are performed by same-gender officers and all passengers have the right to a private screening with a travel companion at any time.

I think they’ve got people who monitor blogs. I say this because I got a comment from a TSA employee on one of my posts about the TSA a bare half hour after I posted it. Kinda creepy.

Yep, fuck them. State-funded perverts!

And the Horse they rode in on.

The comments on the TSA blog are where the action is. I don’t think it’s going quite the way they hoped it might.

I hope they freeze in the dark.

NEVER go into a private room with a TSA goon.
The only way I’m going into a private room for a groping by anyone is if it’s voluntary and consentual.

Don’t think the tso would appreciate you holding a dollar bill folded lengthwise while they work you over, do you?

I wonder if individual TSA agents are afraid of the public? After all, they are the ones visible to the passengers, at least some of whom live in the same city and may hold serious grudges…not over mistreatment of themselves but over mistreatment of their family members.

I’m thinking about setting up a burka concession shop near a major airport. Maybe sell pen-cams there also…

@bluesun:
Actually, yes, they *do* have people monitoring Twitter, FaceBook and random blogs. If your posts are publicly visible and show up in a search, chances are, your post will have been perused. Even more fun, there’s supposedly an internal policy memo that’s been sent down that anyone publicly objecting to TSA proceedings be placed on a “domestic extreemists” watch-list.
Police-state, anyone?
