John, I honestly didn’t include guns that aren’t really in common circulation. While there are a few dedicated Steyr owners out there, I’ve never seen one at a match. The same goes for Taurus and Walther; while they do make polymer guns they don’t really have a following in the competition community. I tried to focus on guns that are easy to find, easy to get parts and magazines for, etc.

What no Steyr m40. It is an excellent weapon with a grip cant that makes for easy point and click use….

I have several Glocks, but they don’t feel particularly good in my hand from an ergonomic standpoint.
I would like to have a Springfield XD, preferrably in 9mm, because they feel so much better in my hand.

I suppose you are right caleb. The sights of the steyr m40 are more for survival then for precision.

A pretty good summary, but I confess a soft spot for my STI Edge in .38 Super.
Even with our ridiculous 10-round magazine limit.
