There just moving it seems. Never really cared for bushmaster. There products were never really any better then there main competetors. But they were better at marketing themselves as a superior comapany. Then charging much more than what others would for a product of no discernable differences. They could do that as many people don’t know how many AR makers there really are. Oddly enough DPMS and Bushmaster are owned by the same people yet they always seemed to be pitted against each other.

Sad; I suppose the Bushmaster closing could be a centralizing move, since “Freedom Group” owns other AR production facilities.
T/C was an albatross for S&W from the start. They make nice guns that are all very niche products.
My thoughts are with the New England communities that are losing these skilled, traditional jobs.

You can find better stuff cheaper.
