The article is a little confusing. It was not until 2006 or so that Floridians could carry in state parks (thanks Jeb). Apparently there is a separate law limiting municipalities to having laws no more restrictive than the state dating back to the 80’s that then came into play to force the same standards on local parks. As a resident of Palm Beach County, it is a nice little post election surprise. This is the first new coverage I have seen of it, even locally, and it is already a done deal.
