Tar and feathers
Feds are supposedly investigating the snow clean up slow down by NYC employees. Allegations they worked slowly to protest budgets, intentionally damaged property, and were generally useless. Heads should roll. But, being NYC, they’ll probably all be given raises and better benefits.

And to add to it, CNN has an article about an investigation of supervisors buying beer and staying in their cars.
The money quote, however, is from the city councilman:
“They (investigators) are leaving no stone unturned. They’re going gangbusters on this and sparing no expense,” he said.
(Emphasis mine.)
Yeah. I think that covers it.

Several people died as a result of their neglect, including a newborn infant. Tar and feathers to start, then ignite the feathers with gasoline and raise them from a yard-arm.

I tried to get to work at JFK that night. It turned into a 7 hr ordeal of getting stuck behind people who got stuck in snow. Got halfway to work and had to turn back due to depth.
I saw absolutely zero plows and sand/salt trucks, not counting private plows on there way to their respective lots, so not plowing open streets. Also they did not sand/salt the road prior like they always do. Again. 7+ hr trip, zero trucks.

In other words; things are normal in NY.
