Why too late? I know several people who would have gotten iPhones, but they wanted to stay with Verizon so they didn’t. They will now be switching to iPhones. Apple wil still get their money and Verizon will still get their contracts.
Would have taken an iPhone when I upgraded in October…if they offered me my $200 back AND an iPhone now I’d tell them to pound sand. Love my Droid X…and I’m typing this on my MacBook Pro which I also love. Anyone who thinks the iPhone is the killer app of smartphones needs to look at videos of the Motorola Atrix introduced at CES.
I dunno … At least one of my friends who’s getting an iPhone has droid. I doubt he’ll be the only such case. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how things turn out.

Several years too late for Verizon or Apple?
In any event, I’m wondering how long until there are “features” (read: restrictions) on the Verizon phones that aren’t there on AT&T.

Because now folks have droid phones. Apple could have dominated the smart phone market if they did it sooner.
