Quote of the Day
PDB: Unsighted pistol fire is a vital lifesaving skill that may be used under limited circumstances, and is something that most shooters don’t practice enough. But it is not a solution for all problems, and is not a substitute for learning to shoot your pistol!

I mind the time a friend let me run a cylinder-full through his replica Navy Six. We were shooting at NRA slow fire 25-yard pistol targets, at 50 feet. I tried the first two shots with the risible “sights” on the thing, and they went off into never-never land. On the friend’s suggestion, I just pulled down from “raise pistol” on the next four, and got them all on the paper. If I go blind, that’s the gun I want.
