I think you misunderstand the purpose of firearms regulations in MA. They are intended to keep firearms out of the hands of as many people as possible, not to facilitate the right to keep and bear arms.
Once you understand that, the actions in this case make perfect sense.

It is how you can tell they are not serious or at least are disengenous. Like when the TSA told that woman here in Oklahoma that they had detected traces of explosives on her and she couldn’t fly. But hey, come back tomorrow and we’ll let you fly!

What he said was nowhere near as offensive as the things the Westboro Baptist Church says all the time, and I don’t recall them losing any kind of license.

Since Congresswoman Giffords was pro-gun, my first thought is that he was generating anti-gun owner propaganda by trying to make us look like mindless, murdering, anti-government types.
