Presenting the views they want
NPR goes looking for someone who is pro-second amendment that will say they support the ban on standard capacity magazines:
We’re looking for a gun owner and 2nd Amendment supporter who is not opposed to the forthcoming McCarthy bill re: magazine capacity.
It’s like they have an agenda or something. Looks like they couldn’t find any so they got a shill instead.

Well, I say take them up on their offer if it were still possible (sadly it isn’t) and when you got on the air, give them your REAL stance.

I’m a gun owner, 2nd amendment supporter, and I’m not opposed to the forthcoming McCarthy bill. She should have the right to introduce this stupid bill. It will get shot down and help her NOT get reelected.
As a general rule I don’t oppose any stupid bill introduced. Let this be her calling card.

Such a bill should always include the hired guns, but I’m sure they’ll be exempt.

Once again, we find NPR making up the news, rather than reporting it.

From what I understand, the SCOTUS voided the constitution in the courtroom allowing judges to rule as they wish, constitution be damned. 1/18/2011:

The next email I received noted that the ruling was not against the constitution, but against the attempt to get his 400K in legal fees back from a court ruling in Georgia. So before the attacks begin, I retract the above post…

Markie Marxist sez: “You have no argument. Sure, we Marxists control the dialog at NPR, but we do it with your tax dollars. If you don’t like the message that we’re sending, then stop paying us to deliver it!”
