Are we sure that’s a malf? The action looks to be based on the Ithaca 37. Until the 90’s there was no disconnector. So if you held the trigger down and racked the slide, it would fire when the bolt went into battery. Best check it with live fire rather than GUESS at what is going on. It may be a feature and not a bug.
How about keep your finger off of the trigger? Is this a novel concept or something to some people? How many dumb asses that actually have used a shotgun cycle the action with their damned finger on the trigger whilst applying pressure? Non-story IMHO.
