   PS: Just to get my official bet in, I predict…

   Further importation is banned, and yet, schizophrenically, existing copies are grandfathered and kept off the Title II list…

   Supposing the ATF declares the Saiga-12 and similar guns destructive devices, what does that mean for people that already own one?

   wizardpc is incorrect.

   When the USAS-12, Streetsweeper, and Striker shotguns were declared destructive devices by ATF rulings 94-1 and 94-2, existing owners were required to put their guns on a Form 4 at no charge. The ATF put ads in major gun rags and passed out bulletins to FFLs to post and they wound up extending the original one-year deadline two or three times, IIRC…

   Further transfers then required the usual Title II nonsense and a $200 DD tranfer tax.

   I have a dream…

   I dream that the Discovery Channel brings out a new show about a custom gun shop. This new show features Saiga shotguns in many episodes.

   I dream this new show is very popular and many non gun owners. These interested people look for information about Saiga shotguns and find out that the ATF has just banned them because of a bayonet lug that does not exist.

   I dream these newly interested people realize the absurdity of this new law, and they begin to understand the absurdity of many of the other gun laws.

   I dream these people vote accordingly…

    The purpose of the 2nd Amendment is SECURITY, NOT sporting. The ATF is acting as a criminal organization, because only your enemy wants you disarmed and thus denied weapons for the purpose of SECURITY!!!

    LGS has 2 Saiga 12g on the shelf. It’s always been one of those ‘I’ll get around to it eventually guns’ for me (actually, I’m a member of the Mags Too Damn High party). Now I’m thinking I might waddle down there and grab them; one for me and one as an investment.

    Hell, who am I kidding, they’d both be for me.

    And I believe the ATF just soulkissed Keltec’s KSG.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
