Twitter busts cop fleeing the scene
After he hits a car. Now, assigned to desk duty. You or I would be charged with leaving the scene.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

Sounds like typical metro behavior to me. Some of their cars look like they have been playing demolition derby…. Makes me wonder if they ever stop when striking someone else’s vehicle..

Note that it’s glossed over in all the stuff that he was moonlighting by calling it “secondary employment assignment”. Yeah, he backed over someone in his state owned vehicle and then fled the scene and ‘called it in’ so he wouldn’t get in trouble on his side gig.

“You or I would be charged with leaving the scene.”
As part of The Brotherhood, they’re encouraged to look out for one another– to protect their own.
Driving on a state highway, I once saw the flashing lights in my rear-view mirror, and realized that there were several police cars comming up behind me FAST. I mean ripping, hell bent for leather fast. Cars were pulling to the side (in varying states of panic no doubt, thinking to themselves; “Holy Shit!”) as far as I could see.
Turns out they were headed to a funeral for a fellow cop.
