Smuggling guns into the UK
Man arrested for smuggling handguns overseas. On passenger flights. TSA didn’t manage to stop him.

TSA wouldn’t be expected to stop him from doing that, since they were in checked luggage.
It’s not illegal to check guns in your luggage, after all.
It is, of course, illegal to bring ’em into Britain, but that’s not really TSA’s problem.
I’d aim my ire, if any, at ICE, though… even then, it’s not something they really do a lot.
(I’ve driven over the border into Canada quite a few times, and it’s uncommon to get a Customs inspection leaving the country. Customs Canada, of course, asks you questions and randomly (or not so randomly) searches, but US Customs, not so much.
I’ve had it happen, from ICE agents standing on the road with flashlights doing a cursory inspection, but it’s uncommon.)

For every one person they catch, there must be 50 they don’t catch. Gun prohibition in Europe has always been a joke.

That is some healthy profit margin @ 5000 GBP (~$8000 USD) for a Glock. I’m surprised more people haven’t tried smuggling given that ROI.
