Umm. IIRC, a black tip on a round indicates armour piercing. Aren’t those illegal if they really are?
Only AP handgun ammo is restricted in sale.
Farmer Frank had a photo of another Sig 308. A 550 style rifle. I have not seen it anywhere else.

Nope, the AP rounds are perfectly legal. They’re LC or TWS 53s I got in a Senator Cigar tin from my grandpa. Makes the picture look cooler too!
Oh, good. Then the 30-06 rounds my dad left behind are OK. I suppose tracer rounds *are* illegal though. Not that I’d have any…
You can buy 5.56 Tracer all day long from Cheaper than Dirt, so why would you think ’06 would be illegal?

Bubblehead: I figured that the chances of starting a brushfire would be too great if using it out of doors, so the gov would ban it. I guess I’m just thinking cynically.
