Soooo, with that title, are they shooting sacred cows?

  2. HardCorps Says:

Accuracy is in the trigger pull and sight radius for pistols. There is no other commercial pistol design which has the same quality of trigger, and lack of creep, as the 1911.

    The 1911- not creepy.

Do any of these people actually shoot comps or schools who are writing these opinions? There’s more to it than ‘how it feels.’ And since concealed carry is the main use it seems in this circle, has anyone tried to conceal IWB double stack pistol? Double Stack .45? Fucking sucks!

  3. Weer'd Beard Says:

I love how nobody notices these 1911 critique posts are from people who own, love and carry 1911s.

    Hi, I’m Weer’d, I wrote that post, and I’m carrying a 1911.

The question of “what gun for sacred cows?” has been answered…

Warm up the Grill, we’re having Sacred cow for dinner! I’ll wear my 1911 in my snake skin Dragon Leatherworks holster for my BBQ gun!

  6. mike w. Says:

They should be shooting sacred pigs. I want my bacon damnit!

  7. ATLien Says:

    mmmmm…..sacred pig.

  8. Ancient Woodsman Says:

Oh, ferchrysakes. I see “serious social work” in something about a firearm and my brain shuts off. Reminds me of a certain blog where the bearded main character so far hasn’t seemed to find any firearm at all that he doesn’t really like.

Some day there should be a class for gun writers that stresses originality. Think of Strunk channeling Lao Tzu and writing about firearms with knowledge & zeal, not whatever the latest ‘boy band’ version of gun writing seems to be this week.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
