This is actually fairly easy, when you think about it. The left is in control of government. The left hates money. Most people who fly on a regular basis are businessmen (and women, sorry Loretta). Ergo, most people going through airports are people trying to make evil money, and of course all business people are Mr. MoneyBAGS. Where do such people carry their money? Why in their bags of course!
“A TSA supervisor stole money from passengers who went through his security checkpoint….”
I think you’ve all missed the point. The money was stolen from carry-on bags at TSA security checkpoints.
Since you’re not permitted to carry wallets through the
scanners. you can either put you wallet in the tray or put it in your carry-on. Either way, it shows up as a target on the x-ray scanner.
I bury mine at the bottom of my back-pack, so even when it shoes up, it can’t be quickly or easily removed.
I do. I carry cash on me, in my checked bag, and somewhere hidden in my carry on. I’m a nut about being able to get back home (where my wife and kids are) so I have enough cash in any one of those places to buy a plane/bus ticket home from where ever I am.
When I started traveling foreign in 1985, my trip companion was a retired DIA analyst. He gave me a “moneybelt” to wear under my shirt, which had zero metal content and was large enough to hold my cash and my IDs.
To date, it has not been detected by any TSA agent, and is apparently OK to wear thru a body scanner, as it looks like what it is – a money belt.
Trust a security agent? Those were the guys he used to bribe, for very small amounts, all over the world, to get stuff out of other people’s bags for him, such as IDs, cash, cameras and film, papers, etc….

At this point, I do not carry bags – only one carryon and a purse. Big purse, too.
