Bloomberg to take his gun control campaign on the road:
New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, co-chair of Mayors Against Illegal Guns, appeared on “Good Morning America” Wednesday to announce a new campaign to raise national awareness regarding flaws the coalition of 550 U.S. mayors sees in the federal system of background checks for firearm purchases.
Displaying a tally of the number of Americans killed with guns since January’s Tucson, Ariz., shootings, the “National Drive to Fix Gun Checks” truck will spend two months driving across at least 25 states, Bloomberg said.
Doesn’t he have a city to run* or something?
* into the ground, apparently.

You don’t think he’ll be in the bus do you? When the bus stops somewhere and a speech needs to be made, he’ll jump on a carbon spewing jet, have a bag of salted peanuts, make the speech get back on the jet. Probably a private jet too.

I have a few choice Chicago neighborhoods he could try driving thru after sunset.

Wonder if he’ll have his (armed) security detail with him.

I think it would be fine if he gets a warm welcome where ever he goes. I sure the various PD’s whould have a good time checking his bus and his crew for “illegal” weapons.
