Yeah, I’m glad the magwell on my Tromix S17 is out of spec enough that none of my drums fit it.
People have been arguing over this for several years now. It’s a stupid law, passed back in the days Democrats ran the state (along with all our other stupid, onerous gun laws). No one has cared enough to try to get it repealed. Maybe now VCDL will put some effort into it.
I don’t think there’s enough clout to do this unless it’s part of a larger bill. The argument “You’re doing all this because you want a folding stock on your drum-fed shotgun?” is likely to make the moderates balk. It’d be nice to have done, but making do with fixed and collapsible stocks on our high-capacity AK-patterned scatterguns is sometimes the price we pay for greater liberty.
