Now, don’t do it. If you decide to comment here, you are placing yourself at the leave of Congress. Well, if you decide not to comment here, you are as well. Really, you were screwed as soon as you saw this post.
I guess, with all thoughts subject to government approval, we might as well have a revolution?
If you see a swarm of black helicopters, you’ll know you live near me.
When I was a young lad, and was taken by the nuns at my Catholic elementary school to confession on a weekly basis, I usually confessed among my other venial sins that I had “impure thoughts” because, well, I did. Especially about some of the girls in my class. The priest seemed to understand, likely having heard the same thing from 13 year old boys for decades before I entered the confessional. The priest would tell me to try to do better, give me absolution and a penance, and send me forth feeling a little better about my horribly sinful self.
So now the Congress is going to get into the same business as the Catholic church, and regulate my thoughts? OOOOOOHHHHHH, I just had a really good one involving the entire health care bill, all 2000 pages, crumpled into a mass of paper with sharp corners everywhere, inserted all at once into a Senatorial colon with one sharp kick. I hope the law hasn’t taken effect yet to penalize that thought.
Bad thinking is now a crime? Well, looks like its time to order 435 +100+9+2 StraightJackets and head to D.C and get all those Lunatics who are running the Asylum off the streets.
Markie Marxist sez: “Of course! When we Marxists own people, we own the whole person, body and mind. You didn’t think that Orwell was just making up all that stuff about “thought police”, did you? That’s how we commies operate. We own everything. Ha! Ha! All your mind is belong to us! And everything else you own too. That’s why we call it ‘totalitarianism’.”
When tinfoil hats are outlawed, only outlaws will have tinfoil hats! The ruling does open the door to search warrants targeting an individual’s mind when the technology becomes available. It’s covered under the commerce clause!

According to this, 0bamacare is still a dead letter law, and this lower court ruling changes nothing.
Odd that they haven’t filed a stay yet for Florida v. HHS
Criminal even.

is there a reason this judge isn’t being tarred and feathered right now?

I guarantee the government would like to regulate what I’m thinking right now.
