Wow. I carry a .22 when Kayaking in the swamps around here in case I encounter a Water Moccasin (which can get very aggressive) but it makes me strongly reconsider carrying it while walking my dog!

And yet, one of the targets is in critical condition.
At least the shooter didn’t pay $400 for a kit to convert a $1200 pistol to 22, as so many do. So, really, not that big a 22 joke.

But was the shooter using Dum-Dum hollowpoint 22LR bullets, or ineffective over penetrating solid points? The Geneva Convention would like to know!

.22 lrs kill more folks than any other round.
But they often take more time to do it than is needed to beat the .22 lr shooter to death.

A .22 MkI was all my dad had. He used to shoot muskrats and such vermin with it. I’d’ve hated him to have had to confront a real threat with it. I have it right here. Needs some work on the ramp to load HPs. Once I get the MIG and the Dremel to it, it’ll become a little more dangerous. Just a little 🙂
