I don’t get that little mag release ring they have. My FAL has a brit-pattern lever that is a big fat paddle. Makes mag changes very easy and fast. I wonder if those parts are interchangeable.
Weer’d, I don’t think they’re interchangeable, but I could be wrong. In any event my DSA SA58 ‘s mag release works just fine for a battle rifle; for a tricked-out gaming rifle perhaps not, but my pea-brain can only handle training as I would like to fight, so that’s not a consideration for me.
As for the trigger which the reviewer found wanting on the SA58, I couldn’t disagree more. Is it a customized trigger such as one might find on a nice long-range shooter’s rifle or on a rifle intended for competition? No, but for a defensive weapon the stock trigger on the DSA is remarkably smooth and breaks cleanly.

The SA58 is my go-to rifle.

I’m either sitting too close to some unknown female who happens to be giving off some super-strong phermones, or that gun gave me a boner.
