Of course, while I agree with the good Senator’s comments about the nanny statism, he’s coming across as just another of one of those poor helpless Senators unable to affect the laws of the land….wait a minute….he CAN change the law. Except that would entail hard work and less sound bites.
Do you have any idea how much money it would take to buy off all the politicians needed to change those laws. He would have to pull down 30-40 years as a senator to acquire that much money..
And not only do they ban tungsten lightbulbs, they end up making us buy lightbulbs with mercury in them. This is not going to end well. For many years, building codes insisted on asbestos in certain situations. Now that we’ve Seen The Light, the people who installed that legally-mandated asbestos are being demonized. Gonna be the same with mercury-containing lightbulbs, yew betcha!
