Hah!! MY IQ is LOWER than Einstein’s and I’ve developed my OWN theory of relativity.

It all has to do with bacon.

  2. hilljohnny Says:

IQ is a ratio of what you know compared to your peers. a 12 year-old with iq of 170 is equal to a 20 year-old with iq of 100 (average). besides Einstein never took an iq test.

  3. HardC0rps Says:

I would say <1% of the American people know integration by parts, this kid is the real deal.

  4. Rivrdog Says:

…the next article will be headlined, “Boy Genius tries drugs, crashes car, kills girlfriend, gets 10 years.”

He’ll be great if he can survive his own hormones…

  5. Red Ramage Says:

    @ Rivrdog

From what I know of people with his kind of autism, sexual impulses won’t be a problem. IIRC Temple Grandin stated that she’s never felt sexual desire or impulses.

  6. Bubblehead Les Says:

Red Rampage, my nephew with Asperger’s is doing fine in the U.S. Navy as an E.O.D. tech, and his Italian Fiance is FRACKIN’ HOT. As for this Genius kid, Screw Relativity, we need Warp Drive so we can get off this Mudball before the Idiot Political Class gets us all killed and the Chimps have to start over!

    @ hilljohnny

Right. Not to mention that Einstein came up with the idea of relativity, not just the theory. That’s a massive step that this kid did not take. He’s just putting a new spin on an old concept.

My son has a friend like that with Aspergers. He’s 10, studying calculus, solves rubics cubes, and is a computer programming wiz. Interesting stuff.

  8. Paul Says:

My own theory is everything is relative and related.

    Deep, no?

  9. Terrapod Says:

This kid may be the one that figures out how to beat Einstein and Hawking, maybe FTL is possible or brane theory may be turn out to be real and we can open portals to places light years distant and transfer matter through them. I am rooting for him to keep on thinking and working mathematics and physics.

  10. rickn8or Says:

Two of my grandsons (5 & 7) have been diagnosed with Aspergers. I passed this link to their mother to let her know she’s not alone.

  11. Mr Evilwrench Says:

I think too many people don’t realize you can’t conflate autism/aspergers with intelligence or various talents. They’re separate issues. I had the IQ deep in the upper 100’s. I aced IQ tests. I was a math & science geek growing up, but can only wish I’d had a touch of ass burger, as I never developed the kind of single mindedness that would have helped me take advantage of what I had. Everything was so easy for me I got lazy and apathetic. Well, that’s my excuse, anyway, and I’m stickin to it.

  12. Justthisguy Says:

Well, If you’ve read the John Varley novels, autism and smarts are necessary but not sufficient. The kid now needs a nutcase father who’ll hit on the head with a spiked club; then we’ll have those rockets with the infinite mass ratio, and the limitless electric power.

  13. Justthisguy Says:

Bubble, I am always glad to see an Aspie make good socio-sexually. Please send the boy my most earnest (and jealous) congratulations!

  14. Justthisguy Says:

Umm, there shoulda been a comma between “good” and “socio.”

No excuse; I have a copy of “Eats, Shoots, and Leaves” right here.

Owhell, it was just a blog comment.

    What? Who told you that?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
