I couldn’t take the pay cut.

I’m sorry, I couldn’t write for a company that sets off a “creative sales flare.” It’s the inhumanity of it. Ow.
Is a “copywrighter” anything like a “wheelwright”?
I hope they find someone with a flair for copywriting.

I can’t move to Iowa, dammit. A copywriter is just a writer who *actually* knows the intended readership and moves in those circles. The flares are on 4th of July.

I’d think about it, except they’re in Iowa. Texas, Utah, Colorado, Tennessee, maybe even Arkansas or, Heaven forbid, even Alabama, I’d consider it. Might even think about Oklahoma or northern AZ or NM. Wouldn’t rule out WY. But, Iowa, NFW.

Well I’m a computer programmer…. I dunno if the pay is good or not. Can I work at home HERE in Texas???
I’m about as gun nut as they get and have quite a bit of experience at guns and the dreaded ‘documentation’ of problems.
Guess I’ll have to surf Brownells at home to find out!

Or Paul, you could just read the ad copy above.
“This is a fulltime onsite position in Montezuma, Iowa; telecommuting will not be allowed. “

Screw Iowa, a sizable chunk of my gun collection is illegal there.

A copywriter who can’t telecommute? Come on Brownells, join the 21st century!

“proven ability to write original, award-winning copy”
Why are they advertising? They obviously have a particular individual in mind, why don’t they just call him up and save the rest of us a lot of grief?
